Fred
Deutsch, DC, DACRB
Dr. Fred is a graduate of Northwestern
Health Sciences University. He’s been in
practice in Watertown for the past 24 years and
has established a busy family-oriented practice.
He treats many types of conditions including headache,
whiplash
and neck pain,
carpal tunnel
syndrome,
low back pain
and disc conditions,
and is one of just several chiropractors in South
Dakota that is a board certified rehabilitation
specialist. In addition to providing individualized
patient care, he serves as a consultant for state
chiropractors, providing assistance with the management
of many difficult-to-manage or challenging chiropractic
health problems. In recognition of his contributions,
in 2006 the South Dakota Chiropractors Association
named him Chiropractor of the Year.
Dr. Fred is active in the community and currently
serves on the Board of Education for the Watertown
School District and Lake Area Technical Institute.
An advocate for children, Dr. Fred volunteers
his time for many community and child-related
organizations. He is the past president of the
board of the Watertown Boys & Girls Club,
serves as a mentor for a child through the Big
Brothers Big Sisters organization, and participates
in reading and literacy programs for Watertown
elementary school-age children.
He is an active member of Immaculate Conception
Church in Watertown. He enjoys reading, “lake-time”
and photography in his spare time. |
Kathleen
Deutsch, DC
Dr.
Kathleen is a native of South Dakota. She
is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northwestern
Health Sciences University and has been
in practice since 1980. For the first two
years after graduation she had the opportunity
of practicing, researching, and teaching
with Dr. James Cox, one of the leading authorities
in the world on the non-surgical treatment
of disc herniations and other challenging
back conditions.
As part of a husband and wife chiropractic
team and the most experienced female chiropractor
in the community, Dr. Kathleen enjoys a
very busy and expanding practice. She particularly
enjoys treating children, neck and back
problems, women’s health issues (PMS,
Menopause, Osteoporosis, Pregnancy Discomfort),
and chronic health problems (weight management,
nutritional imbalances, allergies, detoxification,
fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, arthritis,
and high Blood Pressure).
She is a certified acupuncturist
and is well known in the community for providing
lay lectures on a variety of topics including
living a healthier, longer life, correction
of spinal problems,
and acupuncture. She is a member of the
South Dakota Chiropractors Association and
the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Kathleen is active in the Watertown
community serving on the School District’s
Coordinated Health Care Committee, Right
to Life and Immaculate Conception Church
where she cantors, teaches CCD and is a
member of the Adult Education. She is the
mother to four busy and beautiful daughters.
In her free time she enjoys bible study,
gardening and exercise. |
